Which is better for quality of Married Life ? To be Right or To Be Happy !? ~ and why Attractive Students get Better Grades !
This early Thursday morning came across two very interesting studies !
The First is how attractive students get higher grades and Beautiful People are Paid More,are Desired by More and have higher Self-Esteem

The Second deals with Married Life ~ For a Couple to lead a healthy married Life what is better ~to be Right or to be Happy !?
This is an Interesting study of a Married Couple by the University of Auckland and published in the British Medical Journal
The authors decided that the Wife was preferred to be Right and not told about the exercise while the Husband was clued in and preferred to be Happy and was told to agree with whatever Wife said without dissent or complaint even if he believed she was wrong
The Quality of their Life was marked from 1 to 10 with 10 being the Best….Initially the Wife was marked at 8 and the Husband at 7….the study had to be halted on just Day 12 as the Wife became increasingly critical of the Husband who was agreeing to all what she said….the Husband’s score went down rapidly from 7 to 3 by Day 12 while on Day 6 itself the Wife’s score went up marginally to 8.5
🙄 The conclusion drawn ,though more research is required,is that being Right is the cause of Happiness while agreeing with what one disagrees with is the cause of Unhappiness !
It is harmful for a relationship where one agrees with the other all the time !
😛 So can Henpecked Husbands be ever Happy !
