  1. Hi Gaurav!

I had left a message on your blog on Sesa Industries shares (unlisted) log. I would really appreciate if you could tell me if I’m on the right track here regarding the dividend due to me.
While Karvy, the RTA for Vedanta, has transferred the shares (Sesa Industries to Vedanta) into my demat a/c, they have only sent dividends for FY 13-14, 14-15 and 15-16 vide letter dated Jan 2018 – which comes to a total of Rs. 2700 only.
All previous and subsequent dividends remain unclaimed.
As per my calculations, based on 100 original shares in Sesa Industries, I’ve calculated dividend on 20 shares of FV Rs. 10 from FY2005-06 to FY2007-08 and 400 shares of FV Rs. 1 from FY2009 onwards, which comes to a total of Rs. 20260.
Request you to kindly guide me if this is done correctly. Thank you!!

    1. Hi Urjit…do connect directly with the Investors Relationship Officer of Vedanta with a cc to their Company Secretary with this situation & history of yours on your Original Sesa Industries holding & ask them to clarify on dividend entitlements or if any have time lapsed
