If the proposal goes through in the Parliament to reduce the age from 18 to 16 for Consensual Sex, a Girl can now have sex at 16 ! ~ but cannot marry or drive or vote till 18 or drink hard liquor till 25 ! ~ Ditto for a the Male except he can marry only at 21
Look at the situations that can arise and be within the law too !
- You cannot drink at your Own Marriage !
- You can have sex straight out of School probably after practising it in school !
- You can have sex but cannot marry !
Our Nation’s Demographics is Young ! ~ but are we Mature ! ~ At 16 do we truly understand and are we physically and psychologically prepared for the consequences of our actions !?
Have the 50 and 60 and 70 and 80 year Old Parliamentarians seriously discussed this with the young 16 year old and 18 year olds before proposing to reduce the consensual sex age to 16 from 18 and increasing the Drinking Permit Age to 25 !
Increasingly women are demanding and are being treated as equals in many ways including the workspace too ~ will they at age 18 be able to share the family expense burden should they chose to marry ! ~ they would be beginning Graduate College at 18 !
Or Just Enjoy the Sex ~ Believing and Living that Freedom does not come with any Responsibility !
