Indian Indices Up 2% today despite Reliance sulking !…Sensex crosses 18200 and Nifty rallies past 5500…

Indian Indices Up 2% today despite Reliance sulking !…Sensex surged 354 points to cross 18200 and close at 18202 while the Nifty rallied 116 Points to close past 5500 at 5532….Reliance actually dropped 1.43% to close at Rs 836…Just two others,Cipla and HUL dropped, while 27 Sensex scrips were buoyant today with seven of them surging between 4% to 7% with Tata Motors accelerating to a gain of 6.91% today

Witnessed many midcaps too rally smartly as some measure of confidence returns to our markets…will the rally continue or are its legs getting weary ?…Let me put it this way…The Macro Valuations may be topping out too soon in early 2012 and in the short term but the Liquidity shows no signs of doing so…and the Momentum & Sentiment is being driven by Liquidity 

The Power Projects got a much needed boost today as the PMO assured them of Coal Supplies and Fuel Supply Agreements…80% of Coal Production will be for the Power Sector and the Production will be ramped up by Coal India…Tata Power,a Sensex constituent surged 6% while Reliance Power powered ahead over 10%

Lower than 7% Inflation figures indicates RBI going yet easy with more rate cuts…Banks,Real Estate & Infrastructure Companies remained buoyant on this

There are positive market vibes on the MCX Primary issue that opens on Feb 22,2012 and is expected to get in Rs 750 crs…IFCI,has doubled past Rs 40 levels inside two months from  the Rs 20 levels it had sunk to in December 2011 aided also by the fact that  it holds a good stake in MCX   

So how many of you have participated in this brilliant 2012 Rally ?…if you have ,remember a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush !…do encash some if not all of your gains…and DO NOT REINVEST BACK INTO EQUITIES IN THE SHORT TERM !
