It’s past midnight and 9/12 here in Mumbai but USA is yet commerating the 9th Anniversary of Tragic 9/11…..While I prayed that the World never witnesses another 9/11 ever,I also lived a lovely warm day here in India…which is celebrating three festivals in one day…Ganesh Chaturti,Eid and Samvatsari
Wishing all Indians a Warm and Cheerful Ganesh Chaturti….Eid Mubarak to all Muslims…and ‘Michhami Dukkadam’ to all Jains
We have a lovely Marble Lord Ganesha at Home which adorns our Prayer Corner…. every year on Ganesh Chaturti we lovingly bathe Lord Ganesha and decorate it with a Lovely Fresh Flowers Garland …. Fresh Flowers,Incense Sticks and ‘Modak’ Prasad and other Special Pooja Offerings are placed before the Idol…..Diya is lit…… for Three to Five Days we offer Special Prayers and Aarti every day….and we just lived the first day …..happy to have close relatives join us on short notice in the ‘Aarti’ followed by an ordered in Jain Paryushan Dinner from a famous eatery,’Swati Snacks’ of Corn Handvo,Dabka Kadi and Makai Bhaat,Bajra Khichu,Satpadi Roti and Gatta nu Shaak,Pankhi,Fada ni Khichdi,Dal Dhokli……for the first time in 15 years,my 15 year old daughter missed the day as she is away at an India u16 Football Team selection Camp
