Our Music Maestro and Soul of India ,Pandit Bhimsen Joshi left us for his heavenly abode on January 24,2011 at the ripe old age of 88…..Gods were keen to hear his khayals, bhajans and abhangs in person….This Brilliant and Legendary vocalist from the Kirana Kharana of Hindustani Classical Music was bestowed with India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna in 2008….he truly was a ‘Ratna’
Below is the Link to hear our National Anthem as sung by late Pandit Bhimsen Joshi…his melodius and miracle voice will arouse joyous warmth as you sing along with him
Only a great artist like him can show how to add aesthetic value within the constraints of decorum involved in singing the national anthem.
Pranams to his memory.
Kindly stand in “Attention” when listening to it.
